My New Skoda Page

Hi Folks this is my new page for posting Photos and info on my beloved 1983 Skoda Rapid Cabrio 120G.

This car is confirmed as one of the first three cars produced by Skoda UK. It was sent brand new to RK Oliver Skoda Dealer, in Donegall Pass, Belfast in 1983. There it remained brand new and unregistered until 1987. So although the car is 1983, it didn't hit the road and be registered until 1987.

I bought the car in 2004, after selling , my Isetta Bubble car, wanting something equally unusual but more practical to use.

The car had been in storage for a lot of its life. Though this meant it hadn't been messed with, and was totally original, undamaged and with no rust whatsoever.

I recommissioned the car, and had a new roof made for it...and here it is. These photos were taken in 2004 before the final trim etc was fitted after everything was stripped and cleaned for the recommission.
